Better is one day in your courts than thousands elsewhere

Been so, so, so busy lately but it's already been a week and I really want to share this before I forget.

Last Thursday, CCF had a slot in the 24/7 prayer room to lead in worship. In short, it was truly amazing. The entire team never got to practice together fully; even right before we were supposed to head over to Resurrection College, we were missing a team member. But God is good and providing and he was smiling on us that night. He was right there in that room with us while we were singing praise and praying to him. I felt like I truly experienced what it meant to praise God. More people than I expected came to join us in worshipping God. It was just incredible.

We ended up worshipping until 12:30 instead of 11 pm. Those hours didn't feel that long at all. It was just so awesome being able to worship and sing and praise God without guard and without caring what anyone else thought. Really let my heart sing out that night. I like being on a worship team, I think I'll consider committing to it next year.
