Spent half my day with my grade churchies. It was SO NICE being able to share a meal, joke like old times, and have sharing time. I'm sorta sad that I had to miss out on like, half of it (heard it was epic and long), but I'm glad that I went and got to share a little of my experiences as well as being able to listen to my brothers and sisters in their sharings. God has seriously blessed us all so much, and made us grow in our respective ways. I am praying so hard that he'll continue to reveal himself to us, and for him to keep us together for the many years to come. Even when we're wrinkly and partially deaf.
I love hanging out with these people. We always manage to have a good time, no matter how many people show up. They've taught me how to humble myself and to be less judgmental. And, although we don't see each other that often, I still feel that sense of community and tight-knit-ness whenever we come back together again. I know that they will be there whenever I go home, or whenever I need someone to talk to.
I'll be loving this bunch long time. :)
In other news, I spent some nice quality time with two other dear sisters of mine. I've known the first since we were tiny tots! And, oh, those good old pen pal days. We had a really good conversation on just about everything... on school, God, relationships, church. I'm really, really glad that we made this time to catch up. Marshmallow, you're still spice-ayyy. You will be even when we're all old and pregnant. Bahaha!
The second, although we've not known each other for years and years, is still my lover. Haha, we may not see each other or be able to call/skype all the time, but I know she's got my back and I've got hers. I think my family may have adopted her as a second daughter already. Honestly. Hahaha. Missy, you should visit me in Waterloo more often!
Today was so full of loooove. :) I can go to bed a happy camper. Although I have to look forward to much work and stress tomorrow, I'm just going to revel in my happiness for now. THANK YOU, GOD, for giving me such an awesome spiritual family back home!
