Thursday

End time: 2:07 am

I just re-read my post from this afternoon (yesterday afternoon) and realized I didn't even explain the email I got back from the prof. Basically he just said "Sorry the class is full". Therefore I assumed that he either was 1. unsympathetic or 2. too bothered to read my email.

Anyway, the good news is that I went to the "declare your major" info session and got things straightened out. Among finding out other things I'll need to know for the future regarding academics, I got to talk to the general arts advisor. I told him that I wanted to declare Legal Studies as my major but I only had one course, and immediately he said that I only need one course.

Wait, what?!

Apparently, for some majors such as econ, they want you to have two courses in it, but legal studies does things differently.

Huh. really.

He assured me that I'd get into LS as my major (I explained that I'm in Arts and Business and the whole messed up spring course thing) and if I wanted to make sure that I should email the people at LS. Which is what I did right when I got home.

I felt like a ton was lifted off my shoulders as I walked out of the room after talking to him. I walked home with a bounce to my step and a smile on my face. :)

Although the past few hours have been filled with craziness (CS... I despise you), I can go to bed a little more relieved and less stressed than before. THANK YOU GOD for providing even when I was impatient, frustrated and feeling helpless.
