Tonight at DG, we read part of 1 John 2.
The part about antichrists was very intriguing. "Dear children, this is the last hour..."
The last hour. Christ is coming soon!
So I'm pretty sure we've all heard the phrase, "live like there's no tomorrow". In the worldly sense, usually that means you should never hold back, play hard, try new experiences. But I think that this phrase also applies in a Christ-like sense.
Tomorrow might never come because Christ might come back in the middle of the night (sneaky ninja style). So, really, live like there's no tomorrow. Give someone that hug because they need it. Encourage your brother or sister. Tell that person you love them. Don't hold back in sharing the gospel. Be the light of the world, every day, in everything that you do.
Remember that a simple act of love can make the biggest difference in someone else's life. Don't hesitate because today might be the last day before Jesus comes again.
Amen, sista!
